INFORMATION AS WE CONTINUE TO FILL OUR PASTOR POSITION
PASTORAL EMERGENCIES
While we are using supply pastors (until an Interim Pastor is called) here is the contact information for any pastoral needs you or a family member may experience:
----If you or a family member is hospitalized, and desire a visit, please contact Jess Kowalski.
----If you have a pastoral emergency, please contact Tom Scherbert at 414-916-0797 or 2scherberts@gmail.com and he will contact one of the pastors in our neighboring congregations.
PASTOR’S DISCRETIONARY FUND
Even though we are currently without a permanent pastor it is important that we continue our financial assistance to those with emergency needs during these challenging times. As needs have been much greater in the last few years, our fund is currently in a deficit. Please consider donating to this fund so we can continue this vital assistance. If you include a donation in your regular offering, please mark on the check or envelope "Pastor Discretionary Fund". You can also donate by credit/debit card on our giving website. Should you have a need please contact Council Vice-President Sally Weiland.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED TO CALL ON OUR SHUT-IN MEMBERS
While we are using supply pastor’s (until an Interim Pastor is called) we are looking for volunteers to visit and take communion to those unable to come to church. This is an important part of our ministry that we don’t want to fall through the cracks. If interested, please
contact Anita Marlin.

Calling All Knitters and Crocheters!
The Palliative Care unit at Nkoaranga Hospital, operated by the Diocese of Meru in Tanzania gives knitted comfort dolls to patients and children of patients receiving treatment. These are soft, huggable, little dolls that are greatly appreciated by patients and their children, and are easy for knitters to make.
This is an opportunity to volunteer some time and resources to people who will truly appreciate it! The pattern/instructions are on a separate sheet. Give the completed dolls to Andy Toth or Dave Chappell and they’ll take them to one of the groups making a trip to the Meru Diocese this year. There’s no hurry or deadline; if you choose to do this you can do it on your own time and know that every doll will provide comfort to those who have so little comfort in their lives.
Thanks in advance for your help!
You can get the pattern for either knitting or crocheting by clicking here: http://comfortdollproject.com/doll-patterns/
