PASTOR STEVE’S FAREWELL LUNCHEON – TODAY!
Our time with Pr. Steve will be wrapping up at the end of December. To thank and honor him for his service supporting our transition process at Resurrection Lutheran, we are having a luncheon following today's service, featuring a Baked Potato Bar with all the fixings, e.g. bacon, cheese, broccoli, more bacon, onions, even more bacon!! Thanks to everyone who donated for this event!
RLC GIVING TREE IS BACK!!!
Beginning December our giving tree will be back in the narthex. We will be collecting gift cards from Walmart, PickNSave, Aldi and Dollar Tree in $25 and $50 increments to provide help to those that need assistance during the holiday season. Please take a tag from the tree and return the tag and purchased gift card with activation receipt to the collection box in the narthex by Dec 15. Thank you for helping to make the holiday season special!
TIME TO ORDER POINSETTIAS!
Poinsettias are available to purchase to help decorate the church for Christmas. Plants are available in two colors (white and red). The 6.5 inch pots contain one large plant for $13 and the 7.5 inch pots contain two large plants for $21. Plants can be taken home after service on Christmas Eve. Checks should be made to RLC. Payment should be given to Tom or Sue Scherbert (or put in their mailbox). The deadline to order is Sunday, December 15. There is a signup sheet at the kiosk or you can email Tom & Sue [email protected]
JOURNEYS SCHOOL CHRISTMAS PROGRAM
Celebrate the joy of Christmas with our partner Journeys School on Friday, December 20th at 10:00a. Watch the students perform “God’s Perfect Plan.” Luncheon to follow.
PLEDGE CARDS/TIME AND TALENT SHEETS
Just a reminder that returning your Pledge Cards helps us greatly in the budgeting process. Also, returning Time and Talent Sheets significantly helps those who oversee committees, projects, and tasks with obtaining volunteers. Please return these forms to the offering plate or church office. Extra forms are available in the narthex. Thank you for your commitment to our ministry.
MT. MERU COFFEE PROJECT INFORMATION – HOLIDAY FAVORITES ARE BACK!
Coffee is available for sale on the “coffee table” in the Narthex. All orders of Mt. Meru Coffee of $30 or more ship free online by clicking here: Mt. Meru Direct Tracy Hahn will also order coffee for you and bring it to church by texting her at 262-853-2117.
