After services today, several volunteers from RLC will be making 100 bag lunches for Street Angels as our God’s Work. Our Hands service project.
BOOK STUDY TUESDAY--TIME CHANGE
Book study will meet this week and next week at 7:00p. It will return to 6:30p on September 17th. Pastor Steve is leading with the book: "A Long Obedience in the Same Direction: Discipleship in an Instant
Society.”
LEARNING TOGETHER HAS STARTED FOR THIS SEASON
The first lesson of the Learning Together series was posted this week and will continue weekly, with Sunday School on the 4th Sunday of each month. (except December) Thanks to Margo Greer for her weekly lesson and to Pat Marohl for doing this month’s reading!
JOURNEYS SCHOOL SUPPLY COLLECTION--LAST DAY
Today is the last day we are collecting schools supplies for Journeys. They can especially use Sharpie markers and colored pencils. Cleaning supplies like dish soap, window cleaner, paper towels, Kleenex, and Lysol wipes as well as individually wrapped snacks would also be appreciated! Thank you for your continued and generous support
JOURNEYS VOLUNTEER DAY – STARTS WEDNESDAY
RLC will be volunteering on the 2nd Wednesday of each month from 1:00 - 3:00 (first hour reading with kids, second hour projects). If people would rather not work directly with kids, they can do prospects the whole time. They will also continue to have reading every Wednesday from 1:00 - 2:00 for anyone that wants to come and read with students. Anyone can come, just show up. Questions?..contact Sue Koloske.
VIDEO DISCUSSION—A CHANGING WORLD—SUNDAY 9/15
Join us after service next week in the Fellowship Hall as we watch a video and share some discussion about how the church and the world are changing and just what God is calling us to do in response.

Book club will meet at church at 1:30 on September 26 with Doreen Jochims hosting. The book for September is Britt Marie Was Here by Fredrik Backman . October’s book is Remarkably Bright Creatures by Shelby Van Pelt.

Coffee is available for sale on the “coffee table” in the Narthex. All orders of Mt. Meru Coffee of $30 or more ship free online by clicking here: Mt. Meru Direct Tracy Hahn will also order coffee for you and bring it to church by texting her at 262-853-2117.

Registration is NOW OPEN for our 2024 Family Ride Run Walk fundraiser on September 21! Join all of your friends the morning of Saturday, September 21 for road and trail bike ride, walking and running routes, followed by a picnic lunch and fellowship.
