Welcome to February’s Learning Together! You, once again, will be invited to listen and read and create and pray around one particular story. February’s story is called “How to Pray” found on pages 222-227 in The Jesus Storybook Bible. The Biblical reference is found in Matthew 6. Children: In this first week, please listen to the story read out loud in our Sunday afternoon email. As you listen, think about these questions: What does it mean to pray? When is the right time and where is the right place to pray? Does Jesus tell of wrong ways to pray? All family members are encouraged to listen together. Blog or journal your thoughts if you wish. Adults: Spiritual disciplines are an important part of our relationship with Christ. Prayer is oftentimes at the top of the list of Spiritual disciplines. Examples of other disciplines are, but not limited to, reading your Bible, worship, serving, stewardship, and Godliness. ~All are invited to say the following prayer for this week: Dear Lord, we love you and thank you for teaching us how to talk to you in prayer. Amen. Have a blessed week! Margo Greer
