Learning Together Series - He's Here! December - Week 1

Welcome to month four in our Learning Together Education Series. 

For December, we are spending a little time with the story about Jesus’ birth.  In the Jesus Storybook Bible by Sally Lloyd-Jones, the story is called, “He’s here!”  Listen to Aidan read the story and see what it is you notice as you listen.  Write down a word or phrase or draw a picture and then spend a little time thinking about what that image brings to your mind from your own life today.

How do you feel when you hear the phrase, “I am God’s servant. Whatever God says, I will do.”  Is there anything you feel God is calling you to do? What gets in the way?  What helps you to serve?

Throughout this week, pray the following prayer when you are able.

Dear God who made the universe with just a word, thank you for coming down to the earth as a baby.  Help me to see you in the vastness of the heavens and in the tiniest, most fragile beings.  Teach me to adore you.  Amen.
