Learning Together Series - The Fall October - Week 1

Welcome to October’s Learning Together!
 Our Story for October is “The Terrible Lie”.

​For this first week of October I have included 2 versions of the story. The first one is read by Aidan and called the “Sneaky Snake” and the second one is the story taken from The Storybook Bible By Sally Lloyd-Jones. Please listen to both versions together as a family and do 2 things: 

• Talk about one similarity and one difference the 2 stories have. 
• Write down what you think is the most important part of the story and why? 

One of our greatest sins in life is wanting what we don’t have. This week, make a mental note of at least 5 things you are grateful for having. If you like, use the blog and share them. 
 
Finally, I found this prayer that would be a good one to pray together as a family: 
God, keep me focused today on the things that are of you. Amen.
